You what?

What's this, hilarious and inaccurate old news? Yes.
http://www.thisiskent.co.uk/gallery-open-view/story-13688137-detail/story.html - I've been helping out a lot as curatorial intern at Crate; learning about the ins and outs of a small contemporary gallery, working with artists, doing general tech work and invigilating - but I get to use the space for my own project in the new year... Institutional critique's not dead

In other news, I'm still painting. What's next? We'll see.

Some amendments...

(Crappy picture quality... Oh how I would love an SLR).

An obese chimpanzee

Experiments:

Due to... lack of materials/inspiration/photographs.. I'm reworking some older pieces that I'm not too fond of.

Acrylics + varnish + masking tape = fresh looks.

...........................................................

After visiting the widely praised Wilhelm Sasnel show at the Whitechapel gallery I recommend it too. Though some pieces definitely deserve more attention than others..

Another one worth a visit is the Urban Perspective show at Orion Contemporary, a mix of British and Swedish art, tasty stuff!

Welcome Exposure, albeit, noticed a little late.

I'm loving these works by Clark Goolsby, seriously cool. And with names like Coffin Primitives, and Plastic Messiah, how can you not be interested?
