Pleasing things.

I am happy to announce I have been awarded an internship with UCA and Crate during their Exhibition as Medium Programme (July '11 - April '12).

Here is the current schedule:

15 July - 7 August 2011
Noel Clueit, Bob Levene, David Martin, Dan Meththananda and Woodmill (Alastair Frazer,Thom O'Nions, Naomi Pearce and Richard Sides).
A group exhibition presented as a series of cumulative solo exhibitions. Each artist produces and presents work in the gallery space at different times during the exhibition, choosing either to use or disregard what has gone before.

It means artists will become much more involved with each others works than they would in a traditional exhibition role and I'm pretty excited to have been given this opportunity. I will be given the chance to develop my own project towards the end of the internship and act as a graduate teaching assistant at UCA doing workshops and such.

Also, I have been asked to be a part of a graduate exhibition at Gallery 3  as part of the Horsebridge Centre in Whitstable from September - October.

AND... I believe the UCA Pop Up Gallery in Chatham (which has some of my works and those of other good people) is open on the 25th July! (open Mon, Wed, Sat 10-5pm)
